Grow London Local Coffee Fridays: Infix Digital Joins the Conversation
At Infix Digital, we believe in the power of community engagement to drive business growth. Our Project Manager recently exemplified this commitment by attending two of Grow London Local’s Coffee Fridays events, initiatives funded by the Mayor of London to support local businesses.
First Engagement: East Ham
Our Project Manager’s initial participation was at the East Ham Coffee Friday, held at a restaurant in East Ham. This event provided an excellent platform to introduce Infix Digital to fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners. During the session, our Project Manager shared valuable insights on leveraging information technology to enhance business operations. Topics included the importance of having a professional website and utilising tools like Google My Business to attract and retain customers.
Celebrating the 1st Anniversary at Unit Six Café, Stratford
The second engagement was a special occasion—the 1st anniversary of Grow London Local’s Coffee Fridays—celebrated at Unit Six Café in Stratford. The event was a vibrant gathering of local authorities and business owners, offering a unique opportunity to network and exchange ideas. Our Project Manager found the program insightful, noting that the connections made and knowledge gained were invaluable.
About Grow London Local’s Coffee Fridays
Grow London Local’s Coffee Fridays are free, in-person sessions held on the first Friday of every month across various London locations. These events aim to foster friendly conversations, knowledge sharing, and networking among small business owners and entrepreneurs. Attendees have the chance to connect with peers who share similar goals and challenges, as well as meet the Grow London Local team of Business Support Managers. These managers assist in identifying business needs and directing participants to free support resources.
Impact of Grow London Local
Since its pilot phase between November and December 2023, Grow London Local has engaged with nearly 5,000 small businesses across London. The program employs various metrics to measure success, including the number of businesses supported through digital and in-person services and Net Promoter Scores to assess satisfaction levels.
